Ah ha, I wondered if anyone ever called that. Why this occurred in the autumn of 2009 can not be known. I was hoping to find an actual copy of the recording or whatever it was, but I think the internet has rather spoiled me, and there is no sensible reason I should expect a person to have called a phone number, put the receiver up to a tape recorder, get something actually audible and then hold onto it for… yikes, 17 years. I should be grateful just that you remembered something like “quaking pus-bag” for so long. And so I will try. Thank yhhhhhh…. no, I have failed.

Wow! I just found this. I used to play this as a kid, but COULD NOT remember what it was called. Anytime I thought about it, it would drive me insane. I’m so glad that I figured it out now. I doubt that I’ll play it again, but I played this for forever. The only thing that I could remember about it was crossing the river Styx and climbing some crazy stair case and being totally creeped out the entire time I played it. It was amazing as a child. Thank you for writing about this odd lost game.

Google Dosbox and use it. You’ll have to convert your CD to an ISO, but after that, it will run. Follow the FAQ of dosbox. I had it up and running in five minutes. Email me if you have questions. I was so happy to the the Dame was Loaded working again.

Yeah, I didn’t really expect much from this game. But I’m telling you, if they made a Pokemon MMO well, it could trump WoW. I know I would blow all of my cash to play it.
